Novel design of radiotherapy room suggestion - three-band maze

The objective of this study was to analyze the dependence neutron dose from geometry second band maze using dosimetric measurements neutrons and Monte Carlo simulations, based on those results design a novel radiotherapy room layout. Measurements at two-band therapy were performed for 15 MeV photon beam only. simulations GEANT4 toolkit. In order obtain dependence, we changing angle while kept length, height, width same as in reality. Results show that highest calculated obtained 60? maze. It is 17 % higher than standard 0? angle. For 30? it 30 smaller 90? 10% smaller. Although lowest with calculations, not very practical clinical use. Clinically most interesting would be which practically short three-band maze, could promising perspective radiation protection since offer compact constructional solution, better optimization available space.
